Cover Letters

Cover letters are an introduction of the job seeker to hiring managers. While resumes are matter-of-fact and direct, cover letters are warmer and more inviting. They are individual platforms to display your interest in an industry/field or position. The cover letter is a terrific job search tool that shows hiring managers that you are applying for “THAT” job, not just “A” job. Cover letters will require a resume overview and a 30-minute consultation with the best resume (and cover letter) writers in the industry.

Do I Need A Cover Letter?

Well, do you? As cover letters go, The ResuMates®  rule of thumb is “Make It Worth the Read.” Cover letters are your opportunity to marry your job skills to the company’s requirements. If The ResuMates®  can’t make this marriage work, it’s possible that you two are not a right fit for each other? The cover letter needs to be aligned with either the industry/field or the position. If the employer asks for one, of course, you need a cover letter. If there is an option to submit a cover letter, it is a good idea to send one; especially if it is beautifully written by The ResuMates®  of course. If you are not sure about needing a cover letter, choose Cover Letter- Review.

Cover letters include a 30-minute consultation and $75 gets you started.

There is a $.25/word charge for initial or final cover letters exceeding 250 words. You will receive an additional invoice.
